Hoy view - self catering cottage

Over the last few years we have been carefully and lovingly restoring our cottage, Hoy View, which is now available to book. By making a booking you are accepting our terms and conditions.

Hoy View is situated just across the road from Sharvedda B&B and, like the B&B, has stunning views along the coast and across to Orkney and the Isle of Hoy. It's also a great spot for stargazing on clear nights and, if you're lucky, you may see the Northern Lights in Winter.

 

We have fully refurbished and modernised Hoy View which comprises two bedrooms (one double, one twin), a separate toilet and shower room, a cosy lounge, a well-appointed kitchen (including a washer-dryer), and a small sun room with french-doors. All of the east-facing rooms (kitchen, lounge, and sun-room) enjoy fabulous coastal views.

 

Hoy View is perfect for couples, small families, or individuals, and is well situated for exploring the north coast and local area as well as offering somewhere comfortable to relax and enjoy the wonderful views. We're very sorry, but we can't accommodate dogs (or any other pets).

Bookings

A minimum of three nights' accommodation is required and our rates are as follows:

  • £315 for 3 nights for up to two people (£105 per night)

  • £450 for 3 nights for three to four people (£150 per night)

The cottage can accommodate a maximum of four people.

To make a booking please click here. By making a booking you are accepting our terms and conditions. Persons making the reservation must be over the age of 18.

No deposit is required. Full booking balance is due on the day of arrival. Payment can be made by cash, cheque or bank transfer.

​

If a booking is cancelled less than 2 days before arrival then a charge equal to the first night of the stay will be made. In the event of a no show or booking reduction (after arrival date) the full cost of the booking is charged.

​

Check-in is from 4pm and check out on day of departure is 10am.
