    Pultney Distillery is the most northerly distillery on the Scottish mainland located at Wick.

    Visit Dunnet Head, which is the most northerly point on the British mainland or Cape Wrath which is the most northerly point. Spectacular cliffs and lighthouse.


    Visit Smoo Cave at Durness which is the largest and most dramatic cave in Britan,you can take a boat trip inside


    Golf is available at Reay, a popular 18 hole course.


    Go swimming at picturesque Bettyhill's Leisure Pool only 10 miles west of Strathy.


    Strathy Point is a paradise for nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts.

    There are many unspoilt beaches to discover and some of the best surf in Britan can be found locally at Strathy, Melvich and Farr Bay. It is also a great place for walking and both Ben Loyal and Ben Hope (the most northerly Munro) are easily accessible. Their is plenty in the area to interest the botanists.
